Utrecht, 14 September 2023 - VNU Asia Pacific, subsidiary of Royal Dutch Jaarbeurs, is launching the Health and Innovation Asia 2024 trade event in Thailand. From 11 to 13 September 2024, Bangkok will be the meeting place for thousands of Asian healthcare professionals. The new health tech trade event focuses on digital transformation in healthcare and aims to contribute to sustainable and future-proof healthcare in Asia. Jeroen van Hooff, CEO Royal Jaarbeurs: "Jaarbeurs is strongly intertwined not only with the Dutch, but also with the international economy. The market in Asia is promising. We bring our (inter)national events to Asia and bring interesting Asian titles to the European market. With its own office in Bangkok, Jaarbeurs is the 'gateway to Asia' with destinations such as Vietnam, Turkey, China, Philippines, Indonesia and the United Arab Emirates.
Knowledge of the market
For decades, Jaarbeurs has organised the Zorg & ICT trade fair: the largest, annual health tech event in the Netherlands where healthcare professionals learn to successfully apply innovations in order to work together on future-proof healthcare. For the organisation of Health and Innovation Asia 2024, Jaarbeurs started a partnership with the renowned trade fair Thailand Lab. Jeroen van Hooff: "With our extensive experience in organising trade fairs, knowledge of the innovative healthcare market and expertise of partner Thailand Lab, we are able to introduce a high-quality trade fair for Asian healthcare professionals in Bangkok as well. By having a presence on two continents, we create a unique platform for knowledge exchange and international cooperation. We offer both Dutch and Asian exhibitors the opportunity to expand borders, exchange knowledge and target international healthcare professionals."
More than a trade fair
Care & ICT is a partner of the Dutch Health Week. This is the largest healthcare event in the Netherlands where thousands of healthcare and life sciences professionals and organisations meet and exchange knowledge during various events. Van Hooff continues: "Healthcare can only get better by joining forces. It is therefore very strong that Health and Innovation Asia 2024 will be part of Bangkok Health Week. This way, you have all the experts from healthcare and life sciences in one place and work together on a future-proof healthcare in Asia."
