Care & ICT programme announced

Dutch Health Hub Academy hosts over 30 sessions at Care & ICT

Utrecht, 18 October 2021 - Will robots become our friends? How does digital health succeed in elderly care? What role can Artificial Intelligence start playing in healthcare? These are some of the questions that will be addressed in early November at Zorg & ICT, the largest live event on the digitisation of healthcare. The Dutch Health Hub, www.dutchhealthhub.nl, the platform for better, sustainable and affordable care launched earlier this year, will facilitate over 30 sessions during the fair on topics such as remote care, data-driven care, healthcare information systems and digital devices. Zorg & ICT will take place from 2 to 4 November at the Jaarbeurs in Utrecht.

The Dutch Health Hub Academy, set up especially for Care & ICT, will start each day with a roundtable discussion led by Dutch Health Hub director Ruud Koolen. In 45 minutes, Ruud puts his guests to the test on the central theme of the fair, 'Keep up the change'. The theme will be highlighted from different angles throughout the three days of the fair. There will be a discussion on the innovation climate for entrepreneurs, but the benefits of digitalisation for patients will also be discussed. Several exhibition tours on data exchange and AI will start on the Dutch Health Hub square.

Audrey Wilschut of Zorg & ICT: "The programme of the Dutch Health Hub Academy is really an enrichment of the offering at Zorg & ICT. We are very happy to be able to bring healthcare professionals together again in early November for the latest knowledge and insights, inspiration, spotting the latest innovations and to share experiences and network with peers. Due to international corona restrictions, the number of exhibitors is a bit more limited than other years, but I am convinced that we can nevertheless show the latest state of the art very well."

Registration for Care & ICT is open and admission is free. More information can be found at www.zorg-en-ict.nl. Visitors can also register there.
