Besides being one of the largest test sites in the Netherlands, Jaarbeurs will also host one of the largest vaccination sites. On 28 January, the GGD Utrecht will start the build-up. In the coming week, everything will be done so that vaccination can start next Tuesday, 2 February.

The GGD Utrecht is opening seven locations for vaccination in the province of Utrecht, one of which is in the municipality of Utrecht, at Jaarbeurs. In consultation with the Utrecht municipality, the GGD Utrecht chose Jaarbeurs because of its central location in the city, good accessibility by bicycle, public transport or main road infrastructure.

The vaccination site in Jaarbeurs is open seven days a week from 08:00 to 20:00. Over 2,800 people can be vaccinated at the venue every day, depending on the number of vaccines available.
