Do you love board games, card games, roleplaying games or miniatures? Then don't miss the Games Spectacle! This two-day event in the Jaarbeurs is all about playing, discovering and having fun together. Whether you are an experienced games player or just feel like a fun day out: there is always something new to experience here.

Pull up a chair and play along! 🎲

Spread across the large exhibition floor, you will find countless gaming tables where you can join in right away. Major publishers and small, independent makers will introduce you to their latest games. Demonstrators will be present to help you get started, so you don't have to struggle through long rules first. Just sit down and get started, that's the idea.

You can choose from a wide range: fast-paced card games, extensive board games, strategy games or just something light-hearted for in between. Try well-known titles or discover something new. You can often play games that don't appear in the shops until later. A great opportunity to try out something special!

Tournaments, role-playing games and miniatures

If you like a challenge, you can take part in one of the many tournaments. Whether you are a fan of a popular card game or a lover of tactical board games, there is a tournament for almost everyone, at every level.

Lovers of roleplaying games, such as Dungeons & Dragons, will also get their money's worth. There will be gaming tables with short adventures, guided by experienced game leaders who will take you step by step into the story. And those interested in miniature games can marvel at beautifully decorated playing fields and watch demonstrations of well-known wargames.

Discover the best TCGs at CardCon!

CardCon has now become a familiar fixture at the Spellenspektakel. Since its launch in 2024, this special section has developed into the go-to place for fans of collectible card games. Whether you’re a fan of Magic: The Gathering, One Piece, Pokémon, Lorcana or any other trading card game, at CardCon you can take part in tournaments, join in casual play sessions or swap cards with other players.

There will be demonstrations of new sets, experts getting you started with deckbuilding and plenty of opportunity to meet other players. For both experienced players and curious beginners, CardCon is a valuable and lively addition to the Games Spectacle.

More than just games

Besides playing, there is also plenty of room to look around, ask questions or have a chat with creators and other enthusiasts. At the game shops, you can find a wide range of games, expansions and accessories. Have you played something you like? Then you can often take it home straight away.

The Spellenspektakel is open to everyone: young and old, beginners and experts alike. Are you coming with friends, with your family or just on your own? There’s always something to do or someone to play with. We’ve also thought of the children, with games adapted for them and play areas where they can explore at their own pace.

A relaxing day out

The Spellenspektakel is more than just a fair: it is a place where people come together to share their love for games. In a relaxed atmosphere, you can discover new games, rediscover old favourites and exchange experiences with others.

Whether you stay for the whole day or just pop in for a few hours, it’s a great way to discover the diverse world of games.
