Culinary hotspots in the exhibition halls
The Moments points in our exhibition halls have been transformed into culinary hotspots with tasty takeaways and fresh dishes. Our catering offer has also been revamped.

Live-cooking experience without food waste
Recently, the kitchens of our Queen's and Pleyn restaurants were converted into state-of-the-art kitchens with state-of-the-art equipment. Visitors can now enjoy a live-cooking experience. Using the latest equipment, delicious dishes are prepared by our chefs. Menno Overtoom, Director Venue & Operations: "With a super-smart kitchen, we are ready for the future. Previously, sandwiches, cakes and salads sometimes disappeared into the waste container after an event. A waste of work, but especially for the environmental impact. With our latest equipment, we combat this food waste. We make conscious choices for more quality in the culinary field. For instance, our events are between 50 and 90% vegetarian and we continue to expand this range."

"In the coming year, you can once again enjoy various culinary creations at Jaarbeurs. With energetic flavours, local ingredients and more cracking fresh experiences, the dishes are more exciting, innovative and are really going to surprise you. For example, there is a South African salad, which you really want to taste!" adds chef Peter Scholte. "With more choice of products and more stories behind the ingredients, everyone can add their own touch to an event."
