On Thursday 20 May 2021, EventSummit will be the first trade fair to be allowed to take place again since the outbreak of the corona pandemic. The organisers of EventSummit and Jaarbeurs are very pleased with Fieldlab Events' decision to make this largest one-day platform within the events industry a test event at our venue on 20 May. Organisers expect 250 exhibitors, 2,500 visitors and 10+ speakers. A wide range of food, entertainment, services and products will be present.
New research essential
Marcel Elbertse, chairman of the Steering Committee of the Fieldlab Events research programme: 'We are very happy to announce a new series of studies today. It's great that we can do these scale-up tests, where we can test previously acquired knowledge with higher visitor numbers. We fully realise that this is an absolute privilege, especially looking at the current epidemiological picture, where easing is out for now. However, these new studies are essential for the second phase of Fieldlab Events.'
Back to Live Edition
Arjen Lemstra of EventSummit commented: 'We can't wait to speak to everyone from the industry live again.
As Jaarbeurs, we are eager to welcome all exhibitors, all suppliers and the EventSummit team to the Back to Live Edition of EventSummit on 20 May with open arms. Peter van der Veer, commercial director of the Jaarbeurs: 'We are honoured to host EventSummit and to be able to welcome all our colleagues. We are of course happy to help facilitate the third Fieldlab experiment on our premises and of course our pop-up theatre SCALA will play a role in this, which we have built up in our hall complex in accordance with the applicable corona measures. Last year, we were the first event venue in the Netherlands to receive the Kiwa quality mark COVID-19 prevention measures, we are doing everything we can to ensure that events, fairs and congresses can again take place as safely as possible.'
Ticket registration is open
The number of visitors is limited. The advice is therefore to book tickets early. All available stands are also expected to sell out quickly, as no one wants to miss this first major live moment in the industry. Joris Bots, EventSummit: 'As corona has hit many companies financially, we have decided to split the costs for next edition among both exhibitors and visitors. Exhibitors will pay a lower amount and visitors will pay modest entrance fees this year.
Information, inspiration, innovation but above all LIVE interaction.
There are 250 exhibitors eager to inform you about their location, product or service. Despite corona, new innovative companies or products have been added in the last year. In the two seminar rooms, you can get inspired by a dozen speakers throughout the day. At the catering and events area, you can enjoy good food, drinks and great entertainment all day long. And you can finally speak to each other live again after such a long time.
