Green Key Certificate
We make sustainable choices in many parts of the organisation. The basic catering is vegetarian as much as possible and plastic-free wherever possible. Everywhere we try to separate waste and with Winnow we monitor the VGF waste so we can adjust our purchases accordingly. As a reward for our efforts, Jaarbeurs has been certified by Green Key.
Green Key is the largest sustainability mark in the tourism and recreation industry in the Netherlands. If a company has a Green Key, it means that sustainability is high on the company's agenda and has been implemented at various levels in its operations.
A company always receives the Green Key Certificate for 1 year. After that year, it is assessed whether the company deserves the certificate again. Jaarbeurs was the 300th company in the Netherlands to receive the Golden Green Key in 2010 and has not lost it since.
