Utrecht, 14 December 2021. After years of rising to become the biggest gaming fair in the Benelux, GameForce will also step outside the Belgian borders in 2022. So in addition to a Belgian edition, there will also be a Dutch edition in October, at the Royal Jaarbeurs in Utrecht. Utrecht is a well-known venue for many a Dutch gamer and the Dutch epicentre of gaming and esports with, among others, the home of Team Liquid, the Dutch Game Garden and the INDIGO Showcase.

"From our first edition in Antwerp, we saw that a lot of Dutch people were eager to travel to GameForce every year. From now on, they won't have to cross the border, because GameForce will meet them in Utrecht to put on the best gaming fair of the Low Countries, with an eye for the latest games, the best esports, cosplay, buy&sell and all kinds of activities that belong to our gaming culture. It will be, especially after the cancelled editions of recent years, a highlight to look forward to," says Martijn Kollau, managing director of META NL, the fair organiser.

Heiko M. Stutzinger (COO of Royal Jaarbeurs): "Great that we can welcome the first Dutch edition of GameForce in 2022! With this event, we are linking a great international title to the Jaarbeurs and Utrecht for years to come. We look forward to meeting all gaming and esports fans at our venue. We are proud to host the biggest game fair of the Benelux next year."

The exact details surrounding the fair, such as ticket sales, date and more, will take place at a later date.
