Election to find most child-friendly travel organisations, accommodation and mascot now open
Which travel companies have the best offer for families, what are the very best holiday addresses and which holiday mascot is most popular with kids? Today kicks off the battle for the Kids Vakantiegids Awards 2023. By voting on the Kids Vakantiegids Awards website, the general public will decide who will go home with the coveted prizes at the Vakantiebeurs. On Sunday 15 January 2023, the Kids Vakantiegids Awards will be presented by Jamai and the Kids Vakantiegids Detectives during a festive event in the Experience Theater at the Vakantiebeurs in Royal Jaarbeurs.
Kids Vakantiegids Awards
For the fourteenth year, Kids Vakantiegids and Vakantiebeurs are organising the Kids Vakantiegids Awards. The election for most child-friendly travel organisation is divided into the following categories: All-round - Active holidays - Baby holidays - Family hotels - Camping - Kids club holidays - Holiday parks - Far away holidays - Winter sports
The election for the most child-friendly accommodation is divided into the accommodation types Family Hotels, Holiday Parks and Campsites. For each accommodation type, an award is presented in the following categories: Aquapark - Subtropical swimming paradise - Playground - Kids club - Amusement park
In addition, the cutest and most popular holiday mascot will be awarded the Kids Holiday Guide Mascot Award.
The public chooses
The nominees are known. From today, it is up to the general public to decide the winners. Until 5 January 2023, families with kids can cast their votes on the Kids Vakantiegids Awards website. By doing so, they will help their favourite to win, and have an immediate chance to win awesome prizes, including 4 tickets to Disneyland Paris.
Awards ceremony with Jamai
The Kids Vakantiegids Awards will be presented on Sunday 15 January in the Experience Theater at Vakantiebeurs. This year, the festive event will be presented by Jamai, known to kids from popular TV programmes such as Holland's Got Talent, LEGO Masters and The Voice Of Holland. Jamai will be assisted at the presentation by the Kids Vakantiegids Detectives, and will close the event with a dazzling performance.
