Utrecht, 16 January 2023 - The winners of the Kids Vakantiegids Awards 2023 have been announced. Over 8,200 kids and parents cast their votes on Kidsvakantiegids.nl over the past three weeks. Yesterday afternoon, Jamai Loman presented the prestigious awards at the Vakantiebeurs. This happened during a festive and musical event in the packed Experience Theater in the Royal Dutch Jaarbeurs.
The 15th edition of the Kids Holiday Guide Awards opened with a colourful parade of holiday mascots and Kids Detectives across the exhibition floor. Some four mascots then climbed the stage to give their own camping or park show. Then it was Jamai's turn to present the Kids Holiday Guide Awards 2023 in 25 categories. The singer and presenter closed the event with a performance for the award winners and other attendees.

Over the past few weeks, 8,200 kids and parents cast their votes. Then the general public chose the winners, by filling in the Kids Enquête on Kidsvakantiegids.nl. And these are the big winners.

Cobus the most popular mascot
Besides the awards for tour operators and accommodations, an award was presented to the most popular holiday mascot. A large proportion of the 20 nominated mascot(duo)s gathered in the Experience Theatre for the results of this competition. With an overwhelming 53% of the votes, Cobus the owl from Kampeerdorp de Zandstuve became the big winner. Bollo from Landal GreenParks and Pallie from Camping De Pallegarste finished in 2nd and 3rd place respectively.
