Utrecht, 6 February 2025 - Royal Jaarbeurs is proud to announce that it is one of the first event venues and event organisations in Europe to be awarded ISO 27001 certification. Corine Bos, IT director Koninklijke Jaarbeurs, said: "Achieving the ISO 27001 certificate is an important milestone for us. It underlines our continuous effort to protect the data of our visitors, customers and partners. Achieving the certificate is not an end point, we continue to invest in our information security to ensure we meet the highest standards."

A continuous effort
The international certification recognises the strict standards and measures Jaarbeurs has implemented to ensure information security. Corine Bos: "In an era when information security is becoming increasingly important, the Jaarbeurs team has achieved an impressive feat by being one of the first exhibition and conference venues in Europe to achieve the coveted ISO 27001 certification. This not only provides assurance to our visitors, customers and partners that their data is safe, but also reinforces our reputation as a reliable, secure and responsible organisation.
