Utrecht, 10 January 2024 - Utrecht Mayor Sharon Dijksma, Foreign Minister Hanke Bruins Slot and over a hundred international ambassadors were guests this morning at the ambassadors' breakfast ahead of the opening of the Vakantiebeurs. Jeroen van Hooff, CEO Royal Jaarbeurs: "For more than 50 years, more and more Dutch people have started their holidays with an orientation day at the Vakantiebeurs in Utrecht. This week, the city is the centre of and for the travel industry." From Thursday 11 January to Sunday 14 January, a wide range of travel companies, hotels and holiday destinations will be ready to inspire visitors with travel information. Vakantiebeurs has more than 1,000 exhibitors this year. All continents are represented.
Six exhibition halls packed with adventurous travel inspiration

New: Dutch Travel Week
Vakantiebeurs will be part of the Dutch Travel Week for the first time this year. During the Dutch Travel Week, Utrecht will be the centre of the travel world for a week. Together with Utrecht entrepreneurs, many different activities, festivities and tours will be organised in and around the city this week. The 53rd Vakantiebeurs can be visited from Thursday 11 January to Sunday 14 January at Royal Jaarbeurs in Utrecht.
