The Netherlands' largest motorhall is in the starting blocks. From Thursday, 23 February to Sunday, 26 February 2023, Royal Jaarbeurs will be the meeting point for motorcyclists, after two editions absent by corona. Rachel Jankowsky, fair manager: "Enjoying roaring motorbikes and sharing your passion with other enthusiasts. Visitors can once again indulge in motorbikes, spectacular shows and activities. Whether you are a novice or an experienced motorcyclist, this edition of MOTORbeurs Utrecht is for every type of motorcyclist."
Five themes central: something for every type of motorcyclist
This year, the fair is divided into five themes to match the needs and expectations of different types of motorcyclists. Rachel Jankowsky: "In addition to regular brands and dealer stands, the themes each take their own place. At 'Explore', for example, visitors will discover everything for mileage, from hotel hopping in Germany to rally riding in Morocco. For those who like to tinker with their motorbikes, the Customising theme includes special paint and pinstriping. 'Performance' focuses on speedsters and competition. Anyone who wants to get the most out of themselves and their machine is in the right place. 'Community' is all about the social aspect of motorcycling together."
See and experience at MOTORbeurs Utrecht: from your first lessons to pimping your bike
At MOTORbeurs Utrecht, there are various activities that motorbike enthusiasts can undertake. "From a first motorbike lesson at BOVAG to improving techniques like a real trial rider. Bike experts will also be on hand to inspire motorbike enthusiasts on how to make their bikes even more beautiful, crazy and unique. In addition, this year The Motor Podcast will be recorded live at the fair with special guests and visitors talking to each other about their motorbike passion," explains Rachel Jankowsky.
Introduction of electric models
Within the motorbike industry, more and more electric brands are entering the market. Established names are also introducing electric motorbikes. Rachel Jankowsky: "In the theme eMobility, innovation & sustainability, we zoom in on this."
New: indoor navigation with the Jaarbeurs Live app
For the first time, the organisers of MOTORbeurs Utrecht are using the so-called Jaarbeurs Live app. Visitors can easily navigate the show floor with this app. It helps them find exhibitors that match the product category they are looking for and enter in the app. This eliminates the need for a printed exhibition floor plan. Moreover, the app allows them to compile their own programme and provides information on practical matters such as parking and tickets.
