Utrecht, 28 February 2023 - Royal Jaarbeurs experienced a successful edition of MOTORbeurs Utrecht. One of Jaarbeurs 's largest consumer exhibitions attracted 99,026 visitors over the past few days. This represents a 10 per cent growth compared to the previous edition in 2020 before corona and a 23 per cent growth compared to 2019. Rachel Jankowsky, fair manager MOTORbeurs Utrecht: "In the run-up to the fair, a record had already been broken in ticket pre-sales. We noticed unprecedented enthusiasm for visiting the fair. The growth figures mark the enthusiasm for motorcycling. This was also reflected in recent research by BOVAG that came out last week. We heard from many exhibitors that their stands were well attended."
Largest motorbike event in the Netherlands packed with inspiration for the upcoming motorbike season
The organisers of the 37th edition of MOTORbeurs Utrecht look back on a successful edition with satisfied reactions from exhibitors. The fair offered everything on the question "What are you going to do with your motorbike this season?". Motorbike enthusiasts travelled to Royal Jaarbeurs to visit the nearly 300 exhibitors spread across five exhibition halls. "BMW Motorrad looks back on a fantastic edition. For us, it is the place to meet thousands of motorcyclists live and introduce them to our products. Visitors said they appreciated that BMW had brought the latest models to Utrecht and took the opportunity to try one on the test track. We hope that other parties from our wonderful industry will also choose to participate again next year, so that this motorbike party is even more complete and even better matches the visitors' expectations," said Tom Crooijmans, Head of BMW Motorrad Netherlands.
Unprecedented enthusiasm for MOTORbeurs Utrecht 2023, something for everyone
Rachel Jankowsky: "For the first time, we used five themes. After all, the great interest in motorcycling has increased tremendously since the corona period and using the themes, we reached out to various types of motorbike enthusiasts. For example, on one side there is the adventurer who wants to explore the world on a motorbike and on the other, a motorbike enthusiast who prefers to tinker with his or her motorbike."
The new date of MOTORbeurs Utrecht 2024 is known and will take place from Thursday 22 to Sunday 25 February 2024 at Royal Jaarbeurs.
