Dreaming away and experiencing what your next trip will look like. It can be done physically again at Vakantiebeurs 2023 after a two-year absence. From Thursday 12 to Sunday 15 January, visitors can get plenty of holiday inspiration, pick up substantive travel information and book their holidays. Jeroen van Hooff, CEO Royal Jaarbeurs: "We are looking forward to kicking off the 2023 trade fair season festively with finally a physical Vakantiebeurs again. A wide range of organisations, hotels and holiday destinations are eager to inspire our visitors again. We have five exhibition halls packed with adventurous travel inspiration. It promises to be a promising and innovative edition."
New at Vakantiebeurs: personal travel advice square
The fair features hundreds of exhibitors highlighting unique undiscovered destinations, exhibitors focusing on leisure holidays and exhibitors focusing on family holidays. Jeroen van Hooff: "Visitors can look, taste and experience. There is something for everyone. Besides the well-known and varied programme, we have also added something new this year, the so-called personal travel advice square. We have noticed that it is sometimes difficult for visitors to book the perfect or unique holiday. This is why, for the first time, we have personal travel advisers ready to give visitors tailor-made advice during the Holiday Fair."
Indoor navigation and digital exhibition map
There is another first. For the first time, the Vakantiebeurs organisers will use the so-called Jaarbeurs Live app. This app allows visitors to prepare for their visit to Vakantiebeurs from home and compile their personal programme. The app also provides information on ticketing, parking and allows visitors to see where the busy and quiet spots at the fair are. In addition, this app offers an interactive floor plan, making paper maps unnecessary. Jeroen van Hooff: "Vakantiebeurs is a very extensive fair with more than four hundred exhibitors. We have noticed at previous shows and events that the Jaarbeurs Live app is the perfect tool for visitors to get the most out of their visit. Searching for the right exhibition hall and still plotting your exhibition route on location is a thing of the past."
