Utrecht, 14 March 2024 - Purchasing centre Trade Mart Utrecht, part of Royal Jaarbeurs, looks back on a successful Retail Fair Utrecht spring edition. Over 130 exhibitors were on hand over the past few days to inspire retailers with their collections, new models and innovative products. Three floors of the Beatrix Building in Jaarbeurs were packed with trends from quality brands. From jewellery, watches, kitchenware, design to fashion and lifestyle. Marieke Groot, fair manager: "This edition was all about experience and inspiration. We deliberately focused on a strong content programme so that we could offer retailer knowledge in addition to inspiration and the buying moment. In this way, we offered our target groups a better experience and perception. We proudly received many positive reactions from our visitors and exhibitors." Retail Fair Utrecht attracted 3,789 visitors in recent days.
Benelux's largest retail fair packed with experiences
This edition, the organisers of Retailbeurs Utrecht invested extra in offering expert knowledge. For instance, retailers attended several lectures and workshops on topics such as the magic of the inner city and the emotional side of offline shopping. This edition also gave visitors the opportunity to experience brands, products and equipment together with celebrity TV chef Ramon Brugman on the Kitchen & Design Expedition, among others. "This was positively received by our visitors. I am proud of the experience we offered our visitors this edition," says Marieke Groot. "Retail fair Utrecht was well attended over the past few days and retailers once again sourced awesome collections. When a brand can continue to deliver quality and trends year after year, you know you are with the right supplier. Our show floor is full of exactly those kinds of suppliers. We are proud of that and we look forward to a new season together with them."
Qualitative leads and sales records
For three days, retailers were inspired by the latest trends and developments in marketing, e-commerce and consumer behaviour. One of the exhibitors Flamiacs says: "Every conversation is a quality lead. We are heartily satisfied." Exhibitor Scanpan once again broke their sales record during Retailbeurs Utrecht. New exhibitor Brunmontagne also looks back with satisfaction: "As a new exhibitor, it's fantastic to see how our brand is received by visitors. Participation has generated qualitative leads."
European launch collaboration WOLF X Royal Asscher
For the first time during Retail Fair Utrecht, two brands from the jewellery industry joined forces to celebrate their combined 360 years of experience. WOLF 1834 and Royal Asscher presented a tribute: a unique replica of Queen Elizabeth II's Sovereign Sceptre. Mike Asscher of Royal Asscher: "Proud to be celebrating our partnership with Wolf and our 170th anniversary at Retail Fair Utrecht."
The new date of Retail Fair Utrecht 2024 is known and will take place from Sunday 15 to Tuesday 17 September at Trade Mart Utrecht in Royal Jaarbeurs.
