The Sustainability Pledge was first introduced at VSK 2024, where the first three exhibitors signed the pledge at the event. They promise to make their exhibition participation at BouwBeurs 2025 and/or VSK 2026 more sustainable.
The construction and installation sector is working to make the industry more sustainable. As Jaarbeurs, we want to drive sustainability in the sector by organising the trade fair as sustainably as possible, while encouraging exhibitors and visitors to participate/visit the event in a sustainable manner.

Hans Smid, Vice-President Digital Energy at Schneider Electric, on sustainability: "At every point in our organisation, we bring sustainability to the fore." Schneider Electric has been focusing on sustainability for 25 years. The company was named the most sustainable organisation in the world in 2022 and they are super proud of that. Using the United Nations' SDGs, the company is working towards its sustainability goals.
