Utrecht, 13 February 2024 - The trade fair VSK, the largest exhibition for the total E+W installation sector in the Netherlands, attracted 37,399 visitors to Royal Jaarbeurs in Utrecht last week. A growth of 24 per cent compared to the previous edition. Over 330 exhibitors specialising in E- and W-installation were on hand last week to inspire visitors about their innovations and sustainable developments. For the first time, electrical engineering was part of the trade fair, as E and W increasingly overlap. The next VSK will take place from 3 to 6 February 2026.

VSK 2024 great success full of innovations
The organisers look back on the 26th edition of the VSK trade fair with great satisfaction. Joyce van de Hoef, trade fair manager VSK: "For four days, exhibitors and partners specialised in E- and W-installation shared their knowledge and showed their latest range of solutions, applications, techniques, innovations and services. This year, we also had a somewhat different format than before for the first time: the electrical engineering sector was explicitly part of VSK. Visitors and exhibitors were delighted with this. After all, electrical engineering plays a crucial role in the energy transition. I am very impressed by all the innovations presented at the fair. In addition, the commitment of visitors to gain knowledge was remarkably high. " One of the visitors, Jan Koppenschaar, says: "We are at VSK because we want to discover lots of new things. We want to look at the innovative developments in the market, such as heat pumps and solar panels, but also sustainability in the energy transition. For us, VSK is important for the fact that we are very informative, collegial among ourselves and enjoy everything that comes along in terms of new companies. We will 100% definitely be there again in 2026."

Exhibitors also look back with satisfaction. Rick Haukes of Remeha B.V.: "We experienced VSK 2024 as a wonderful trade fair. It was nice and busy: a fantastic number of customers we welcomed at our circular and sustainable stand. We were able to present many products and solutions for a sustainable future. We are extremely proud!" It was also a successful fair for exhibitor DUCO: "VSK 2024 was really great for us, a super fair, because of the quality of the customers, the amount of visitors, the interest and of course also the leads we scored. We will definitely participate in VSK 2026!"

Scoop at VSK: first exhibitors sign Sustainability Pledge
Royal Jaarbeurs, the organiser of the trade fair VSK, is taking an ambitious step towards becoming Europe's most sustainable event organiser and facilitator by 2030. An ambition that can only be realised if forces are combined. That is why Jaarbeurs introduced the Sustainability Pledge last VSK. The very first exhibitors, Zehnder Group Nederland B.V., Schneider Electric and Remeha B.V., put their signatures to the Pledge. By signing the Sustainability Pledge, Jaarbeurs and its exhibitors from the construction and installation sector promise to contribute to reducing their CO2 emissions while participating in the trade fairs BouwBeurs and VSK. Jaarbeurs is starting the trade fairs in the construction and installation sector with the ambition of a circular BouwBeurs in 2027 and a circular VSK in 2028.
