Utrecht, 30 September 2024 - The NTCC Business Awards are presented annually in Thailand by the Netherlands-Thai Chamber of Commerce (NTCC). Among eight nominees this year, VNU Asia Pacific, based in Thailand and part of Koninklijke Jaarbeurs, emerged as the winner in the category 'International Trade Services: Integrated Solutions'. The award was presented last Friday 27 September at the 25th NTCC gala dinner celebrating 420 years of trade relations between the Netherlands and Thailand.

Based in Thailand, VNU Asia Pacific is a joint venture between Koninklijke Jaarbeurs and TCC Group. Based on a regional hub strategy, exhibitions and (online) events in various sectors are organised from Bangkok, including in the fields of agriculture, bio and health technology and cybersecurity. Some well-known titles include VIV Asia, an international fair for the animal protein industry, and Thailand LAB INTERNATIONAL for laboratory technology and innovations.
A bridge between the Netherlands and Thailand
VNU Asia Pacific wins the award because of the impact it has on the Dutch-Thai industry with its trade shows and the bridge it creates between the countries. "By consistently organising high-level events like VIV Asia, VNU Asia Pacific enables Dutch companies to gain access to the promising Thai and Asian markets and offers Thai companies an international network," it said. VNU Asia Pacific's digital innovations, such as the introduction of Health & Innovation Asia, Cybersec Asia and Travel & Tech, promote cooperation between Thailand and the Netherlands and stimulate technological advances, cementing the company's role as a key driver for the growth of Dutch-Thai trade," the jury said.

Meanwhile, we hold the number three position as an event organiser in Thailand."
The NTCC Business Awards ceremony is one of the biggest annual events of the Dutch-Thai Chamber of Commerce.
