The fabric in a different light

Of course, you can organise a training session at your office. Yet it is smarter to choose a different location for this. After all, it puts the subject matter in a different light (literally). With over a century of experience, we know exactly what does and does not work well for a training course, conference or event. We think (if you want us to) proactively with you to make your training successful. Moreover, we set up the desired set-up for you, so all you and your participants have to do is find a spot. With our plug & play rooms, all you have to do is plug in and you can start your training.

Why organise a training course at Jaarbeurs?

Breaking free from the workplace

The phone rings, the coffee machine bubbles, the postman is at the door or a colleague really needs you right now... In the office, there is always the chance of distraction. You don't have that at a remote location. Here, participants can fully focus on the training.

New inspiration

A space set up specifically to deliver training takes participants out of their set pattern. A different setting provides new energy and inspiration. At Jaarbeurs, for example, we have special spaces (such as Media Plaza, Supernova and MeetUp) that immediately give a boost of new energy.

Professional facilities

A training room at an external location is specially equipped for training and courses. At Jaarbeurs we have it all for you. With us you use top quality equipment and we set up the desired setup for you.

Tasty catering

At Jaarbeurs, we serve tasty, vegetarian dishes using local, seasonal ingredients. Together with top chefs and sustainable partners, we constantly renew our menus.

Training rooms of Jaarbeurs

Training sessions take place at Jaarbeurs on a daily basis. Depending on the organisation's requirements and the number of participants, we can recommend different areas and spaces for this.

5 tips for organising training

A successful training course has a few characteristics: it inspires and motivates participants, for example. It spurs them to action. Or encourages them to take a different path. Either way, a successful training depends not only on the content. The location is also essential. A few tips for organising training.

Ask yourself what participants should have learned or mastered by the end. By setting clear goals, you can better design the training.

Based on the purpose, you will also know what kind of venue you need. For example, do you want an inspiring space (like a room in Supernova) or are you looking for more of a setting like a classroom (like a MeetUp room)? In addition, it is also important to consider parking facilities, are there enough parking spaces available at the training space?

No one is made to sit still and listen non-stop. So schedule plenty of breaks and interactive moments.

Provide tasty snacks or lunch and plenty of drinks. Indeed, hungry and thirsty people pay less attention.

Do you plan to deliver training sessions more often? Then ask your participants for feedback. What went and well and what could be improved? This will help in organising the next edition.
