When you organise a press conference, you want everything to run smoothly. We understand that. That is why our team will do everything possible to make your press conference a success. We make sure the right set-up is ready for you, test the technology and think of the right decor. Moreover, you will have your own contact person at your disposal. This person will be available to you at all times during the press conference.
At Jaarbeurs, we have several spaces that lend themselves well as venues for a press conference. They usually take place in our MeetUp meeting centre. This consists of 30 flexible meeting rooms with daylight, smart technologies and temperature control. Moreover, the rooms are plug & play; so all you have to do is plug in and you are ready to start.
Bigger press conference? Then choose the Juliana area. These are our classic rooms, ideal when the full focus needs to be on the subject. Among other things, it has a spacious conference hall and four session rooms with a separate foyer. Last but not least, the Juliana area is separated from other areas, which quickly gives a feeling of exclusivity.

Are you going to organise a press conference? Then you have important news to share with the outside world. How you get the message across is essential for the attention it will later receive from the press. We give you some important tips for organising a press conference.
The location of the event venue is an essential component. Is it easily accessible by public transport, car or other means of transport?
Your message is the most important thing during the press conference. Choose a space where all attention is on the subject.
Make someone responsible as moderator. The person will lead the press conference, introduce the speakers and announce the Q&A session, among other things.
You want everyone (including at the back of the room) to be able to hear and see you properly. So think about good microphones, amplifiers and screens. At Jaarbeurs we arrange that for you, by the way.
There are different types of set-ups suitable at a press conference. For example, a theatre setup, u-shape setup or panel setup.
Whether speakers stand or sit depends on the purpose of the press conference. Speakers standing often exude more authority and energy. Seated speakers, in turn, give a more equal atmosphere.
Create and distribute a press kit with background information and contact details. Prefer the sustainable version? Make the folder digital and display a QR code on a screen.
