4 tips for organising a political event
If you are going to organise a political event, keep a few important things in mind. We list them:
To start with, the event venue must be easily accessible. That means it should be close to the train as well as easy to get there by foot, bike or car. In addition, you want the space to match the type of event. Look at the lighting, for example. Is it adaptable? It would be a shame, for example, if the lighting is the colour of the opponent.
Political events are closely linked to security. Security in terms of confidential information as well as security in terms of participants. So see if it is possible to rent a restricted space. At Jaarbeurs we have our Juliana rooms, for example. These have their own entrance and are therefore not shared with other rooms in the building. Ideal for an exclusive feel.
Of course, you never want technology to fail. But certainly not at a political event. Make sure you can rely on a stable connection and working equipment. At Jaarbeurs we use top equipment and work with plug & play technology. So all you have to do is plug in. Not sure what to do? Then our technical experts are there for you.
Organising a political event requires a lot of time and attention. And often, all kinds of things are thought of to perfection (such as the previous tips) but forget about good catering. And that while snacks and drinks are just so important during these kinds of meetings.
