Koninklijke Jaarbeurs kijkt terug op succesvolle eerste editie van vakbeurs Cybersec Asia in Thailand

Utrecht, 12 februari 2024 - Op 31 januari en 1 februari 2024 organiseerde Koninklijke Jaarbeurs vanuit haar dochteronderneming VNU Asia Pacific de allereerste editie van Cybersec Asia in Bangkok. Eerdere edities van Cybersec vonden plaats in Brussel en Utrecht. Met Cybersec biedt Jaarbeurs wereldwijd een platform voor professionals, experts en geïnteresseerden om kennis op te doen over cybersecurity. Met een rijk scala aan sprekers, workshops en paneldiscussies bood deze allereerste editie een schat aan informatie en inzichten over de nieuwste ontwikkelingen op het gebied van cybersecurity.

Jeroen van Hooff, CEO Koninklijke Jaarbeurs: “Cybersecurity is vandaag de dag niet meer weg te denken in onze maatschappij. Daarom bieden wij met onze vakbeurs Cybersec het podium voor cyberbeveiligingsexperts en geïnteresseerden met als doel en om meer bewustzijn over cybersecurity te creëren. Na het succes van Cybersec in Brussel en Utrecht, heeft nu ook een geslaagde eerste editie in Bangkok plaatsgevonden met maar liefst 2.200 bezoekers uit 39 landen. Ik ben trots dat we met deze vakbeurs op meerdere continenten kennis kunnen delen en op die manier bij kunnen dragen aan een beter en veiliger digitaal landschap.”

Vakbeurs Cybersec Europe vindt dit jaar plaats op 29 en 30 mei in Brussel. Cybersec Netherlands krijgt een vervolg op 6 en 7 november in Koninklijke Jaarbeurs in Utrecht. Cybersec Asia krijgt een vervolg op 28 en 29 januari 2025 in Bangkok.

Future Facade: new European trade event for the facade industry at Royal Jaarbeurs

Royal Jaarbeurs has announced a new biennial trade event in spring 2025 for the European facade industry: Future Facade. The quest to achieve a circular facade industry requires international knowledge sharing and cooperation. Complementing an existing portfolio of trade fairs in the building sector that includes BouwBeurs, VSK and DigiBouw, Royal Jaarbeurs is launching this new event in partnership with the European Facade Network (EFN), TU Delft and TU Darmstadt. Future Facade will bridge the gap between knowledge and practice, with themes such as digitalisation, industrialisation and circularity taking centre stage. TU Delft, TU Darmstadt and EFN will also organise an international conference on the topic of circularity in the facade industry to run simultaneously with the trade fair. Future Facade will take place on Wednesday 7 and Thursday 8 May 2025 in Royal Jaarbeurs.

Utrecht fully committed to attracting leading international congresses

Putting Utrecht on the map as the city and region to organise leading international conferences and trade shows. This is the goal of the Utrecht Congress Alliance of public and private partners. It will focus on attracting events which fit the positioning of the city as ‘Utrecht, Heart of Health’, and are in line with the regional themes of Life Sciences & Health, New Digital Society and Smart Sustainability. Royal Jaarbeurs introduces Sustainability Pledge

Utrecht, 9 February 2024 - Royal Jaarbeurs is taking an ambitious step towards becoming Europe's most sustainable event organiser and facilitator by 2030. An ambition that can only be realised if forces are combined. This is why Jaarbeurs is introducing the Sustainability Pledge. By signing this Pledge, Jaarbeurs and its exhibitors promise to take their responsibility and make every effort to organise trade fairs as sustainably as possible. Today, the first exhibitors signed the Pledge during the biennial trade fair VSK 2024. Jaarbeurs is launching trade fairs in the construction and installation sector with the ambition of a circular BouwBeurs in 2027 and a circular VSK in 2028.

Royal Dutch Jaarbeurs wins gold award for Best Congress Venue for second time in a row
