Future Facade: nieuw Europees vakevent voor de gevelindustrie in Koninklijke Jaarbeurs

Utrecht, 30 mei 2024 – In het voorjaar van 2025 vindt in Koninklijke Jaarbeurs een nieuw tweejaarlijks vakevent voor de Europese gevelindustrie plaats: Future Facade. Om tot een circulaire gevelindustrie te komen is internationaal kennisdelen en samenwerken noodzakelijk. Voor Jaarbeurs de reden om, naast haar vakbeurzen BouwBeurs, VSK en DigiBouw, in samenwerking met het European Facade Network, TU Delft en TU Darmstadt dit nieuwe evenement te introduceren. Future Facade heeft als doel een brug te slaan tussen kennis en praktijk. Thema’s als digitalisering, industrialisering en circulariteit staan centraal. Gelijktijdig met Future Facade organiseren TU Delft, TU Darmstadt en het European Facade Network een internationale conferentie met als onderwerp circulariteit in de gevelindustrie. Future Facade vindt plaats op woensdag 7 en donderdag 8 mei 2025 in Koninklijke Jaarbeurs.

Internationaal kennisdelen en samenwerken noodzakelijk 
Future Facade is een internationaal vakevent met een ruim aanbod van keynote sessies en workshops waarin experts kennis delen over de nieuwste ontwikkelingen op het gebied van de gebouwschil. Doelgroep: architecten, adviseurs, opdrachtgevers, bouwers en iedereen met interesse in de gevelindustrie. Het evenement biedt een breed en hoogwaardig aanbod van producten, materialen en systemen, toont innovaties en experimenten, slaat een brug tussen kennis en praktijk en heeft oog voor de maatschappelijke context.

Internationale conferentie
Gelijktijdig met Future Facade organiseren TU Delft,TU Darmstadt en European Facade Network een internationale conferentie met als onderwerp circulariteit in de gevelindustrie. Tijdens deze conferentie nemen vooraanstaande sprekers bezoekers mee in de meest recente ontwikkelingen binnen circulaire gevels.

Jaarbeurs en de bouw & installatiesector
Jaarbeurs is het middelpunt van de Bouw & Installatie sector en organiseert al jarenlang de grootste vakbeurzen BouwBeurs en VSK. In 2024 introduceerde Jaarbeurs DigiBouw. Jaarlijks ontvangt Jaarbeurs vele gastevenementen voor deze sector. In 2023 lanceerde Jaarbeurs het online platform de Bouw en Installatie Hub; het contentplatform voor de bouw- en installatiesector met als doel om samenwerking binnen de bouw- en installatiesector te versterken, kennis te delen en duurzame groei te versnellen.

Future Facade: new European trade event for the facade industry at Royal Jaarbeurs

Royal Jaarbeurs has announced a new biennial trade event in spring 2025 for the European facade industry: Future Facade. The quest to achieve a circular facade industry requires international knowledge sharing and cooperation. Complementing an existing portfolio of trade fairs in the building sector that includes BouwBeurs, VSK and DigiBouw, Royal Jaarbeurs is launching this new event in partnership with the European Facade Network (EFN), TU Delft and TU Darmstadt. Future Facade will bridge the gap between knowledge and practice, with themes such as digitalisation, industrialisation and circularity taking centre stage. TU Delft, TU Darmstadt and EFN will also organise an international conference on the topic of circularity in the facade industry to run simultaneously with the trade fair. Future Facade will take place on Wednesday 7 and Thursday 8 May 2025 in Royal Jaarbeurs.

Royal Jaarbeurs introduces Sustainability Pledge

Utrecht, 9 February 2024 - Royal Jaarbeurs is taking an ambitious step towards becoming Europe's most sustainable event organiser and facilitator by 2030. An ambition that can only be realised if forces are combined. This is why Jaarbeurs is introducing the Sustainability Pledge. By signing this Pledge, Jaarbeurs and its exhibitors promise to take their responsibility and make every effort to organise trade fairs as sustainably as possible. Today, the first exhibitors signed the Pledge during the biennial trade fair VSK 2024. Jaarbeurs is launching trade fairs in the construction and installation sector with the ambition of a circular BouwBeurs in 2027 and a circular VSK in 2028.

Royal Dutch Jaarbeurs wins gold award for Best Congress Venue for second time in a row

Royal Jaarbeurs sells its share in VNU Exhibitions Asia Ltd in China to Advent International

Utrecht, 1 February 2024 –Royal Jaarbeurs operates outside of Europe in countries as diverse as Thailand, Vietnam, Indonesia, the UAE and Rwanda with renowned international events such as VIV, ILDEX and HORTI AGRI NEXT. The company has until now also been active in China via its shares in VNU Exhibitions Asia Ltd (VNU EA). Now, following a strategic reorientation, Jaarbeurs has sold its 70% share in VNU EA in China to Advent International, a major player in the global private equity sector, on 1 February. Royal Jaarbeurs will continue to develop, organise and facilitate national and international events from Utrecht and via VNU Exhibitions Asia Pacific in Bangkok.
