Techbeurzen WoTS en Electronics & Applications de komende vier jaar in Koninklijke Jaarbeurs

Utrecht, 27 september 2024 – Gisteren werd op de vakbeurs World of Industry, Technology & Science (WoTS) in Koninklijke Jaarbeurs een feestelijk moment gevierd met de ondertekening van een meerjarenovereenkomst tussen Jaarbeurs en FHI, federatie van technologiebranches (FHI). Hiermee is vastgelegd dat de toonaangevende vakbeurzen WoTS en Electronics & Applications de komende vier jaar in Jaarbeurs georganiseerd worden. WoTS 2024 loopt nog tot en met vandaag.

Meerjarenovereenkomst voor industrie & techbeurzen
WoTS, de grootste industriële vakbeurs van de Benelux, wordt al sinds 1956 georganiseerd. De komende edities staan gepland voor 2026 en 2028. Electronics & Applications, dé beurs voor industriële elektronica in de Benelux, vindt plaats in 2027 en 2029. Beide beurzen worden georganiseerd door FHI en spelen een belangrijke rol in het samenbrengen van technologie- en industriële professionals.

Prominent international patient care conference comes to Utrecht for first time

Utrecht, 13 june 2024 - The International Forum on Quality and Safety in Healthcare, which attracts 3,000 visitors annually, will be coming to Utrecht for the first time in 2025. Future Facade: new European trade event for the facade industry at Royal Jaarbeurs

Royal Jaarbeurs has announced a new biennial trade event in spring 2025 for the European facade industry: Future Facade. The quest to achieve a circular facade industry requires international knowledge sharing and cooperation. Complementing an existing portfolio of trade fairs in the building sector that includes BouwBeurs, VSK and DigiBouw, Royal Jaarbeurs is launching this new event in partnership with the European Facade Network (EFN), TU Delft and TU Darmstadt. Future Facade will bridge the gap between knowledge and practice, with themes such as digitalisation, industrialisation and circularity taking centre stage. TU Delft, TU Darmstadt and EFN will also organise an international conference on the topic of circularity in the facade industry to run simultaneously with the trade fair. Future Facade will take place on Wednesday 7 and Thursday 8 May 2025 in Royal Jaarbeurs.

Utrecht fully committed to attracting leading international congresses

Putting Utrecht on the map as the city and region to organise leading international conferences and trade shows. This is the goal of the Utrecht Congress Alliance of public and private partners. It will focus on attracting events which fit the positioning of the city as ‘Utrecht, Heart of Health’, and are in line with the regional themes of Life Sciences & Health, New Digital Society and Smart Sustainability. This will be the foundation of a targeted acquisition strategy over the coming years.

Royal Jaarbeurs introduces Sustainability Pledge

Utrecht, 9 February 2024 - Royal Jaarbeurs is taking an ambitious step towards becoming Europe's most sustainable event organiser and facilitator by 2030. An ambition that can only be realised if forces are combined. This is why Jaarbeurs is introducing the Sustainability Pledge. By signing this Pledge, Jaarbeurs and its exhibitors promise to take their responsibility and make every effort to organise trade fairs as sustainably as possible. Today, the first exhibitors signed the Pledge during the biennial trade fair VSK 2024. Jaarbeurs is launching trade fairs in the construction and installation sector with the ambition of a circular BouwBeurs in 2027 and a circular VSK in 2028.

Royal Dutch Jaarbeurs wins gold award for Best Congress Venue for second time in a row

Utrecht, 5 February 2024 - Royal Jaarbeurs today won the national gold award for 'Best Congress Venue of the Year 2023' for the second time in a row. Initiator of the award is the trade magazine for business event venues MEETINGS. Herman Mantel, CCO Jaarbeurs: "I am extremely proud and honoured to receive the award for Best Congress Venue again. Royal Jaarbeurs sells its share in VNU Exhibitions Asia Ltd in China to Advent International

Utrecht, 1 February 2024 –Royal Jaarbeurs operates outside of Europe in countries as diverse as Thailand, Vietnam, Indonesia, the UAE and Rwanda with renowned international events such as VIV, ILDEX and HORTI AGRI NEXT. The company has until now also been active in China via its shares in VNU Exhibitions Asia Ltd (VNU EA). Now, following a strategic reorientation, Jaarbeurs has sold its 70% share in VNU EA in China to Advent International, a major player in the global private equity sector, on 1 February. Royal Jaarbeurs will continue to develop, organise and facilitate national and international events from Utrecht and via VNU Exhibitions Asia Pacific in Bangkok.
