For three days, 1,500 international students pitched their most impactful sustainability idea to inspiring leaders from business and civil society organizations. The Enactus World Cup is not just any event; it's a platform where young impact makers get to share their ideas and projects with the world and where innovation and passion go hand in hand with a sustainable future.

An ambition that can only be realised if forces are combined. This is why Jaarbeurs is introducing the Sustainability Pledge. By signing this Pledge, Jaarbeurs and its exhibitors promise to take their responsibility and make every effort to organise trade fairs as sustainably as possible. Today, the first exhibitors signed the Pledge during the biennial trade fair VSK 2024. Jaarbeurs is launching trade fairs in the construction and installation sector with the ambition of a circular BouwBeurs in 2027 and a circular VSK in 2028.

Now, following a strategic reorientation, Jaarbeurs has sold its 70% share in VNU EA in China to Advent International, a major player in the global private equity sector, on 1 February.
